On April 4 the Ponoka Composite High School badminton teams made their mark at Hunting Hills High School during a badminton tournament in Red Deer.
There were approximately 20 players involved in several categories with some winning gold, silver bronze.
In the Junior category Colin Horan won singles gold, Tanner Campbell and Bruce Miedema took home doubles gold, Kelsey and Amy Lank captured doubles gold and Austin Jacobson won singles bronze.
The Intermediate category also saw winners from PCHS with Mackie Jacobson and Wendy Smith taking the mixed silver and Mackie and Austin Jacobson winning the doubles bronze.
There were no medals for the school in the Senior category.
