Banner of thanks: Mayor Rick Bonnett received a pleasant surprise at town council recently for the Town of Ponoka's sponsorship of the peewee girls provincials. This banner was presented by Coun. Loanna Gulka who is also the manager for the Lacoka peewee girls team. The town sponsored the tournament by waving the ice rental costs

Banner of thanks: Mayor Rick Bonnett received a pleasant surprise at town council recently for the Town of Ponoka's sponsorship of the peewee girls provincials held in Ponoka in March. This banner was signed by the team and presented by Coun. Loanna Gulka who is also the manager for the Lacoka peewee girls team. The town sponsored the tournament by waving the ice rental costs, about a $4,000 value.
