St. Augustine’s junior boys basketball team had a successful home tournament

Tournament winners: St. Augustine’s junior boys basketball team had a successful home tournament recently. The boys won a close final game against Holy Trinity from Drayton Valley. Pictured are back row (l-r): Coach Airon Balatbat, Liam Carr, Zak Mathieu, Gabe Kustiak, Louis Manalili, Brady Groot, Anzhel Salon-Trinidad, Raphael Ocampo and coach Glen Kawahara. Front Row: Justin Alfon, Philip Tagupa, Adam Hoag, Gian Urlanda, David Kawahara, Matthew Kawahara, Alexavier Lim. It was an eight boys teams and eight girls teams tournament. The Ardrossan girls won first with Mecca Glen in second. Correction: Player Raphael Ocampo was added to the names of players. His name was missed when originally published in the newspaper.
