Ponoka Skaters help celebrate. celebrate Canada’s 150th with the Maple Leaf flag. Ponoka Skate Club’s“Travelling Through Time” carnival was held last weekend with the theme to have Carter Blanchard, the club’s scientist,send Kate McNalley through different time eras until she found her own in ancient Egypt. The March 10 performance featured solo skaters while the next day was the group performances.
