The Calnash Ag Event Centre saw a busy weekend of barrel racing, with the Mega Bucks and Money Bags events Aug. 28 to 30, with $4,000 in added money.

The open jackpot on Friday night saw Rylee McKenzie come in first place in 1D, Sonya Dodginghorse first in 2D, and Edesse Descoteaux in top spot in 3D.

First place in each division won a classic horse blanket, with second and third place winners going home with gear bags. The average prize in each division was a STS purse plus $1,000 cash for first place and a classic horse sheet for second place.

Shayna Dyrland won a saddle for the two most consistent runs.
