The 2017 Special Olympics Alberta Summer Games in Medicine Hat was held last weekend and although full details were not available at press time, some of the athletes walked away with medals. Photos submitted Special Olympians: Athletes from Ponoka and Lacombe took part in the 2017 Special Olympics Alberta Summer Games in Medicine Hat last weekend with a few returning with medals from the experience. Here athletes Skylar Krossa and Justin Hoffman pose with their medals with coach Sheri Mitchell (left). The swimmers received medals on the Saturday performance but full details were not available at press time. Other swimmers who attended were Angie Ahlquist, Warren Campbell and Jason Pugh.
