The Bantam Broncs football team is starting their 2022 spring season next week, April 20 and 21 (Wednesday and Thursday).
All kids in the Ponoka area, currently in Grades 6 to 8, are encouraged to give football a try. Attending a single practice is absolutely free — come see if football is for you.
Players who do decide to play for the Broncs will have almost two months this spring season to build skills and football knowledge. Spring season is used as an introduction to football so that players will have the basics for our regular season (which kicks off in the fall).
During the winter, new and returning players participated in dryland sessions where they developed fitness, refined skills, and continued growing as football players. These sessions were held weekly at the old Pink School (Royal Canadian Air Cadets building).
