Ponoka Minor Hockey presented the stars of women’s hockey, present and future, last weekend.
Six peewee teams battled for supremacy in a tournament and on Dec. 10 the Edmonton Chimos and Strathmore Rockies played a Western Women’s Hockey League game before almost 300 fans.
Edmonton won the game 2-1 and on Saturday night in Strathmore, again defeated the Rockies, 5-3.
