Central Region FunSkate competition was held in Caroline, Alberta on Jan. 16 – 19 and saw 12 Ponoka skaters compete. This competition is held in the Central region each year and invites skaters from the beginning level through gold test to compete. Ponoka skaters were excellent representatives of our club with many achieving “Personal Best” performances. Congratulations to: Alyson Fox - 1st Primary FS Program, 1st Primary Team, Emily Massing- 1st Primary FS Program, 1st Primary Team, Gracyn Bonnett - 1st Primary Team Event, Katelynn Korchinski – 1st Primary Team Event, 4th Primary Creative, Mallory Rausch – 4th Preliminary FS Program, 3rd Preliminary Elements, Taylor Horlock – 4th Jr. Bronze Elements, Judy Kim – 1st Stage 4 Elements, Mikayla Hoffman -2nd Stage 3 Program, Ashlyn Mackey – 3rd Stage 5 Program, Adam Guthrie – 4th Stage 5 Program, Emily Parker – 4th Stage 4 Program . Also competing were Nikki Smith & Allison Guthrie . Congratualations to each of the skaters for doing so well.
