Ponoka Panthers fastball club, midget C girls, hosted a 10 team provincial championship, which took place on July 18 to 20. After a total of 24 games, Sedgewick Snipers came out victorious in the gold medal game versus the Calgary Southfour Thunder. Provost Shooters won the bronze medal game over Calgary West Valley Whiplash.

The Panthers completed the round robin play with a record of 2 - 2, which placed them third in their pool but not good enough to advance to the playoff round.

Ponoka started the weekend of competition with a 7 - 4 loss to Calgary Southfour in a close game, which the Panthers led for most of the game, but were unable to hold the lead in the final innings.

In their second game, Ponoka lacked offence and were defeated 12 - 5 by the Provost Shooters.
