The Battle River Shock lost the league championship game 35-14 to Lloydminster Red Dogs, finishing second in the Capital District Midget Football League at Clarke Stadium on May 12.

Shock was down 21-0 after the first quarter and was unable to make up ground. Quarterback Josh Saddleback threw numerous successful passes but the touchdowns recorded by Jacob Butcher and Blake Draper during the third quarter weren’t enough.

Shock ended their hugely successful season 5-0 in regular season play.
