The Reynolds-Alberta Museum will host the thrills and excitement of the Wetaskiwin Snow Drags on Jan. 20.
Racers from across Western Canada will compete for thousands of dollars in cash prizes in one of the largest snowmobile races of the year.
Competitors can register on race day beginning at 8 a.m., with races starting at noon. The museum will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors are welcome to watch the races and can explore the museum’s feature exhibit, Dinosaurs of the Field: Tractors That Built Alberta.
The museum gift shop offers the perfect gift for an automotive, aviation or machine enthusiast and Chef Brady’s tasty offerings at Cruisers Café are not to be missed.
Museum admission includes admission to the Snow Drags. All registered racers have free admission to the museum. The museum café will be open for breakfast at 8 a.m.
This is the first year that the Snow Drags are being held under the rules and sanction of the Saskatchewan Snowmobile Racing Association (SSRA). Visit www.racessra.com for more information.
