Jasmin Johal of Ponoka’s U12 Thunder executes a perfect inside cut in keeping the ball away from a defender in the game against Camrose on Thursday, May 29.
After an earlier loss and a tie against the same team, the Thunder this time came out victorious with a 5-1 final score.
“Our girls have since been training hard and have been getting stronger both in their individual skills and in working together. They are recognizing the importance of teamwork and this was evident in their play in this game,” said coach Calvin David.
