Fun skating in Centennial Park: After many hours of work, and frigid winter temperatures, volunteers had the ice skate path in Centennial Park ready last weekend. Getting in the first skates on the path Jan. 13 is mom Shelly Wright and her daughter Felicity. Developing the path was also made possible with a grant from Ponoka FCSS and some work from the Town of Ponoka, flooding from members of the Ponoka County East District Fire Department and work from other community groups.
