Research from Ponoka News’ recent story about student enrolment and students with special needs with two school divisions in the area brought some Alberta history into discussion.

Alberta’s constitution allows for separate religious public education and within the province, about one third of the school divisions are Catholic. We ask the question Do you think Alberta should keep its separate Catholic school system?
