Ponoka EMS wants to give a huge shout out to our Ponoka firefighters. These guys are such an amazing group of dedicated volunteers. The Town of Ponoka is lucky to have them around. Rain or shine, they show up to help us on whatever call we need. They always show in full force and are the most helpful in whatever we ask of them We can’t thank them enough. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

This past week at an international, provincial, and even on a local level, we have been engaged with often divisive conversations surrounding systemic racism, prejudice, discrimination, and white privilege.

Thank you so much for the Chin Up Game On challenges over the past two weeks. My family and I have really enjoyed learning more about Ponoka’s businesses and spending time walking around downtown. It has been great to have a “destination” outside our home where we can learn, explore and have fun as a family along the way.
