Christmas lights tour map

Ponoka’s annual Christmas lights tour map is available as of Dec. 7.

The tour showcases and celebrates festively decorated homes and yards throughout the community. Self-guide tour maps are now available on the Town of Ponoka’s website at www.ponoka.ca/p/christmas-in-ponoka. Paper copies are also available for pick up at the Ponoka Aquaplex, Ponoka Arena Complex and the Town Office at the Ponoka Civic Centre. Check out the map and enjoy a leisurely Christmas lights tour around Ponoka this holiday season.

Light display at Lions Centennial Park

The Lions Centennial Park Christmas light display will be one of the stops included in Ponoka’s Christmas Lights Tour.

The Christmas light display at Lions Centennial Park is scheduled to begin Dec. 9, and continue until the end of February.

The light display is expected to be bigger and brighter than ever this year due to the Ponoka Lions Club’s $5,000 donation, which is helping to expand the tens of thousands of lights being strung throughout the park this year.
